The 2010 Webutante Ball on Tuesday night is the “kickoff party” for Internet Week, according to City Room. Founder of Foursquare and the ball’s master of ceremonies, Dennis Crowley, notices both the conservative change in Internet Week’s events and the excitement, “We always joke about SXSW being nerdy spring break, so the ball is like the nerd prom.”
The 2010 Webutante Ball will be held at the Marquee 289, 10th Avenue from 7:00p.m. – 12 a.m.
