Advertising Week: Is AOL the Next Disney?

During IAB‘s MIXX Conference, going on now in New York City during Advertising Week, AOL‘s chief Tim Armstrong spoke yesterday about how content will drive the future of AOL. His goal is for the company to be the “Disney of the digital era,” according to the EConsultancy blog.

In addition to building out its publishing abilities, Armstrong aims to develop channels for content delivery that are tailored to visitors’ interests, which will also drive advertising revenue as ads will be better matched to audiences.
