Boxee, which allows users to view Internet television on their actual television sets, held a launch event at Webster Hall in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village neighborhood this week. At the event, which included remarks by NYC-based blip.tv‘s Mike Hudack and Pandora‘s Tom Conrad, Boxee CEO Avner Ronen highlighted the new workaround which allows users to view Hulu on Boxee, Boxee t-shirts were thrown into the crowd, user-experience designer Whitney Hess took the stage to discuss additional new features, and a new Internet television show, Circledrawers, was premiered.
