WABC-TV Returns to Cablevision During Oscar Telecast

ABC announced that progress had been made in its talks with Bethpage, LI-based cable operator Cablevision during this evening's Oscar telecast and according to tweets being monitored by NYConvergence, WABC-TV is again available to Cablevision customers in the NY-area.

Update: The New York Times' Media Decoder blog reports that the channel became accessible again at 8:44 PM ET as Cablevision and ABC have agreed in principle to a new contract governing WABC-TV.
