Tribeca Film Institute To Help NYC Students

The Tribeca Film Institute's Camera-to-Classroom fund will support partnerships between cultural institutions and New York City public schools to implement the curriculum outlined in the Blueprint for Teaching and Learning in the Arts: The Moving Image.  The organizations will plan a workshop for students to produce film, television, or animation projects.

The Tribeca Teaches: Film in Motion program, already implemented in a middle school in the Bronx, will expand to two schools in Brooklyn. A collection of the films produced in this after-school program will be screened at the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival.
