Publishing Consortium Now Called Next Issue Media

The consortium of New York's largest magazine publishers,including Time, Meredith, Hearst and Conde Nast, have comp up with a name for its initiative to create a digital news stand platform. The venture is now called Next Issue Media

In meantime, Hearst has made Esquire magazine available for purchase on the iPhone, starting with the January issue, while Conde Nast has a new digital version of the January issue of GQ available via iTunes. The GQ issue is also available on the iPhone
