MTA Begins Testing Digital Signs on the 6 Train Line

Following an announcement that was made last month, the MTA is now testing digital display boards at stations on the 6 subway line, which give a countdown on the number of minutes left until the next train arrives.

Originally tested and now used on the L line,  the MTA is still hoping to have countdown signs in all 152 stations in the New York subway system by 2011.
