Internet Travel Sites File Suit Against New York City

Some of the biggest travel and ticketing Web sites on the Internet have filed suit against the City of New York  to stop the extension of a hotel tax.  The sites filing the suit include ExpediaHotels.com, Orbitz, Priceline and Travelocity.

They are claiming that a law enacted in June to extend the city's hotel room occupancy tax to third-party travel intermediaries, like their sites, is unconstitutional.
