E-tailer Pop Up Stores Come to the City

Lately, New Yorkers have seen the curious phenomenon of  "pop-up" brick-and-mortar retail stores open from traditional Web only e-retailers   E-commerce sites such as E-Bay and  Nau have recently opened these stores for holiday marketing purposes and to drive traffic to their respective Web sites, as opposed to looking for a more permanent place in the Manhattan retail market. 

While the eBay store in Midtown is no longer open, Nau's store in Soho remains.
