. New York City to Launch Media Incubator in 2010
Next year, the New York City Economic Development Corporation (EDC) will unveil a half-dozen of its previously announced new business incubators, including a media incubator.
The agency is also launching an angel investment fund— it hopes to boost early-stage seed funding in the city by 25% —and expanding its JumpStart NYC program, which places people in ten-week internships with local startups
