This week, the annual event Betaday was hosted in New York by local incubator Betaworks, a "next generation media company," according to The Deal.com. In the article, Betaworks is referenced as an important part of the New York tech startup community as it has helped local companies develop their businesses.
Though many have set up shop at the incubator, some of their companies include, bit.ly, gdgt.com, Hot Potato, OMGPOP, Outside.in, Someecards, StockTwits, Superfeedr, Tumblr. and TweetDeck.
