Paltalk Sues Sony Among Others

New York-based Paltalk Holdings is suing Sony, NCsoft, Activision Blizzard, Turbine Studios, and Jagex Ltd. for patent infringement of multiplayer online technology. Paltalk claims that the companies are violating its patents for technology that allows players to experience the same digital environments simultaneously. Paltalk purchased the patents in 2002 from HearMe.

In 2006, Paltalk filed a similar suit against Microsoft and Microsoft settled mid-trial. The suit was filed in Marshall, Texas.
