. NY State Launches New Traffic Info Line
New York state has launched a new phone information service to help New Yorkers who are traveling around the state and need up-to-date traffic and travel information. By dialing 511, which is available 24 hrs a day seven days a week, will give info from transportation and police agencies in New York and from surrounding states about highway conditions, construction reports and emergency alerts.
