NYC Employees' Salaries Available Online
Though they have always been public knowledge, the salaries of New York City employees are now easily accessible through a Web site created by the Empire Center for New York State Policy. Schools Chancellor Joel Klein tops the list with an annual salary of $250,000. Mayor Bloomberg, though he takes just $1 of his salary, has an official pay of $225,000.
