KickApps Secures $14 Million in Series C Funding
Widget-maker KickApps will use the new funds to enter new markets and continue developing products. The round was led by North Atlantic Capital, with participation from prior investors such as Spark Capital, Softbank, Prism Ventures and former CEO of Liberty Digital Jarl Mohn.
KickApps has previously led two round of funding, which amounted to $17 million. AOL has been rumored to be interested in acquiring the company.
