NYC Radio Station Praises PPM Data

In spite of NY State Attorney General Cuomo's warning to stations about using Arbitron's Portable People Meter (PPM) data, one has come out in support of the new ratings system according to Radio InkAlex Shvartz, the CEO of Mega Media Group, owner of NYC-based low-power TV station and Rhythmic radio station Pulse 97, was quoted as saying that without PPM, they'd "be frozen out of the syndicated ratings system" and that PPM allows them to "compete for advertising dollars from major national brands."
