Why Might The NY Sun Fold?

The paper's current roster of investors, which includes Bruce Kovner, Roger Hertog, Tom Tisch, and Michael Steinhardt, aren't exactly poor reports CityFile so why are they seeking additional investors for the paper?  It turns out that over the course of the publication's seven-year life, it has racked up losses of $70 million and only has 16,000 paying subscribers.
