NYC Home to Several Popular Web-TV Studios
Miles from Hollywood, New York City is home to several web-tv studios that are successfully attracting an audience for their original Internet programming. Among them are For Your Imagination, Next New Networks and MyDamnChannel.
Each company has raised a fair share of funding. Topping the list is Next New Networks with $23 million, then MyDamnChannel with $3.2 million and For Your Imagination has raised $2 million.
According to a poll by TVWeek, Next New Networks is projected by readers to be the NYC studio to make the next Internet mega-hit.
